Monday Operations Brief
An analytics agent that emails leadership every Monday with the biggest changes, green and red flags, and anything worth optimizing across site traffic and the course platform.
For a businessLeadership gets a weekly read on site traffic and enrollments in their inbox, without opening a dashboard, and only hears about issues worth acting on.
01 · ContextThe problem
Leadership wanted a weekly read on website traffic and the course platform without logging into two dashboards.
Just as important: they didn't want an automated email that manufactures urgency every Monday.
02 · PipelineHow it works
- Monday trigger
Runs once a week.
- Pull GA4
Reports from two Google Analytics properties.
- Pull Kajabi
Contacts and form activity from the course platform.
- Read the week
Compares week over week for the biggest changes, green flags, red flags and anything worth optimizing.
- Only if obvious
Suggestions appear only when something is clearly worth doing.
- Send the brief
Emailed to leadership.
03 · ChoicesDesign decisions
An email, not a to-do list
It offers suggestions and never says "we have to." The goal is an informed reader, not a task list.
Quiet weeks stay quiet
If nothing is obvious, the suggestions section is left out entirely rather than printing "nothing this week."
Ordered by ease and importance
When items do surface, they're sorted by how easy and how important they are together, with no effort or impact labels cluttering the read.
Tight guardrails
A restricted tool list and a 10-step budget per run keep the agent from wandering.
04 · EvidenceHow I tested it
Built through four revisions against the live accounts rather than sample data, with the fixes from each round logged in its build sheet.
05 · Honest notesKnown limits
- Live testing showed the Kajabi connector ignores its tag filter, so the design works around it.
- The GA4 report action accepts only one date range per call.
